Happy Easter!

We had a wonderful Easter celebrating our Savior, that He conquered death and has RISEN! Kurtis and I had a great day with his family. The song below is one of my favorites. Enjoy!

How Deep the Father’s Love for Us

How deep the Father’s love for us,
How vast beyond all measure,
That He should give His only Son
To make a wretch His treasure
How great the pain of searing loss;
The Father turns His face away,
As wounds which mar the Chosen One
Bring many sons to glory.

Behold the Man upon a cross,
My sin upon His shoulders;
Ashamed, I hear my mocking voice
Call out among the scoffers.
It was my sin that held Him there
Until it was accomplished;
His dying breath has brought me life
I know that it is finished.

I will not boast in anything,
No gifts, no power, no wisdom;
But I will boast in Jesus Christ,
His death and resurrection.
Why should I gain from His reward?
I cannot give an answer.
But this I know with all my heart;
His wounds have paid my ransom

Lynn and Pete's Visit to Tucson

My sweet sister and her husband left snowy Chicago and headed down to the warm desert to visit us! We had a wonderful time with them and it was the best medicine for my soul. The time went by way too quickly and I am sad to see them go! We had a great time remembering old memories and making new ones on this trip. My sister is expecting in early September so it was fun to see her growing belly! I wish we lived closer so I could see her more and help her with baby things. I can't wait to be an AUNT! The Lord has truly blessed me with an amazing sister and a best friend! Enjoy the pictures!
